They did this last year, too … made a big deal about any large-screen “showing” violating their IP. I’d been considering starting to watch football again, but that killed that idea for good. Professional sports (and I’d include college basketball and footbal in that group) have become completely corporatized, it seems to me.
On the other hand, the NFL is getting a taste of its own medicine when Congress wants to meddle with how the NFL handled the whole Patriots spycam thing.
