Via wiredonline: Encrypted E-Mail Company Hushmail Spills to Feds. Gosh, this brings back memories. I remember using the web-based hushmail before I switched to PGP way back in the day. The reason I switched was that it was really cumbersome and slow. And now it appears that they aren’t as ‘hush’ as they claimed.
According to the Reporters Without Borders report, the U.S. is only 48th on the Worldwide Press Freedom Index. If I was into numerology I could probably make something out of the fact that 48 was also the number of states in the U.S. when I was born.
